The Role: We are looking for a Data/Insights Analyst to transform complex advertising data into compelling, agency-level insights for our clients. You will dive deep into performance metrics, bidstream data, and audience intelligence to uncover the stories that demonstrate the value of Symitri’s technology. This role is critical to client success, serving as the analytical engine that supports our commercial teams and helps our partners achieve superior campaign effectiveness. In this role you will need to independently, and for the sake of the customer success, perform exploratory data analysis to answer business questions based on a dynamic pipeline of data sourced from different facets of the ad ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large-scale portal, API and log-level advertising data to measure campaign performance, identify trends, and provide actionable optimization recommendations
- Develop optimization strategies to meet client business metrics (CPA, ROAS, LTV, aVOC, eCPM…)
- Translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and compelling client-facing reports, presentations, and strategic narratives
- Conduct lift analyses, segment-level attribution, and targeting strategy refinement
- Serve as the embedded data science expert across client teams to analyze media performance, model performance, and recommend and/or prototype improvements
- Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, and Sales Engineering teams to support client relationships with data-driven insights and performance reviews
- Configure pipelines, stratified sampling logic, or feature transformations tailored to client-specific challenges
- Design and execute testing (A/B, multi-cell)
- Work with ML engineers on Training tools that yield complex inference models and pave paths for LLMs
- Provide feedback to the Product and Engineering teams based on data analysis to help shape the evolution of Symitri’s platform and AI-driven algorithms
What You’ll Bring to Symitri
- 5 years of experience in a data analysis role at an ad tech company, media agency, or programmatic advertiser, preferably within
advertising, martech, or SaaS environments. - Proficiency in SQL for querying complex datasets and experience with a BI/data visualization tool (e.g., Metabase, Power BI).
- Strong understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem, including openRTB, DSP dashboards, SSPs (IDX/Magnite), and key performance metrics.
- Demonstrated ability to translate data analysis into a clear story for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A meticulous, analytical mindset with a passion for finding the “why” behind the data.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with identity graphs, cross-device resolution, or hashed ID pipelines (RampID, ID5, UID2, etc.)
- Strong grasp of causal inference, media measurement, and experimentation (e.g., geo holdouts, diff-in-diff, matched markets)
- Experience building data pipelines and models in Python (bonus for familiarity with Spark, Airflow, or MLflow)
- Direct experience analyzing log-level data from ad servers or programmatic platforms
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the confidence to own ambiguous, high-impact
initiatives from start to finish - Client-facing experience in a technical or analytical capacity

Compensation: $140,000 to $168,000 Compensation at Symitri is based on a range of factors, including job-related skills, experience, qualifications and worksite location. Final offers may vary from the listed range and are determined through a structured evaluation process to ensure equity and consistency.
