Title: Project Manager – AdTech Software Development
Location: Remote / Hybrid (periodic NYC office collaboration)
Type: Full-Time
The Role
We’re looking for a Project Manager to oversee complex software development projects that drive the future of privacy-centric advertising. You’ll collaborate with engineering, product, and operations to keep development efforts on track, remove roadblocks, and drive execution across multiple teams. This role is ideal for a highly organized communicator with experience in ad tech, Agile workflows, and remote-first environments.
Key Responsibilities
Project Ownership & Execution
- Manage full lifecycle of software development projects across Symitri’s ad tech platforms
- Translate product goals into clear timelines, sprints, and actionable milestones
- Maintain a clean, prioritized backlog and ensure roadmap alignment with stakeholders
Agile Process & Team Coordination
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives
- Collaborate with engineers to scope projects, plan sprints, and track velocity
- Champion Agile and DevOps best practices to drive continuous improvement
- Assist in managing resource allocation and release planning
Cross-Functional Communication
- Align product, engineering, and operations around shared project goals
- Clearly communicate progress, risks, and priorities to stakeholders across the business
- Maintain project documentation to foster transparency and accountability, and to foster clear communication across teams
What You’ll Bring to Symitri
- 3–5 years of experience as an engineering Project Manager in ad tech or digital advertising
- Strong grasp of Agile and Scrum methodologies (ScrumMaster certification a plus)
- Experience with display and CTV workflows, DSP/SSP integrations, and openRTB systems
- Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps culture, and SDLC processes
- Excellent organizational, communication, and prioritization skills
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Lucid, Airtable, and timeline management tools
Nice to Have
- Experience managing technical teams in a distributed or hybrid environment
- Background in advertising APIs, identity resolution, and digital ad measurement
- Ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences

Compensation: $130,000 to $168,000
Compensation at Symitri is based on a range of factors, including job-related skills, experience, qualifications and worksite location. Final offers may vary from the listed range and are determined through a structured evaluation process to ensure equity and consistency.
